This guide separates new RAM and used RAM asking prices, per single module. Laptop SO-DIMMs and desktop UDIMMs are shown separately. Kits and completed sale prices are excluded. Used modules may be system-pulled; confirm their condition and checking warranty.

The tables compare each specification and condition with its previous recorded check. A dash means there is no comparable prior record. The DDR5 chart offers 1-month, 3-month, 6-month and 1-year views for new RAM only. Lexar history tracks the lowest published offer for a matched model; retailers can vary, and historical part numbers are not available for every record. Daily history begins on 22 December 2025. Missing dates stay blank; partial-period changes are labelled with their actual start date. Separate October 2025 archive quotes are shown as context and are not joined to the daily line.

Before you buy

Can I use DDR5 in a DDR4 slot?

No. DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 use different physical and electrical standards. Match the generation specified for your device.

Is laptop RAM the same as desktop RAM?

Laptops usually use compact SO-DIMMs; desktop PCs usually use full-size UDIMMs. Some mini PCs use laptop memory, so confirm your model first.

Is a 32GB kit the same as one 32GB module?

No. A 2×16GB kit needs two slots. These prices are for a single module; check your available slots and supported capacity per slot.

Why can a retailer price change?

Stock, import costs, exchange rates, model and warranty can affect an asking price. Confirm the exact SKU and final amount with the retailer.
