Welcome to PakDevices! By accessing, browsing, or using our website, mobile application, or any associated tech marketplace services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to every clause herein, you must immediately discontinue use of our platform. PakDevices operates as an online tech marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of new and used IT hardware, including laptops, desktop PCs, gaming rigs, monitors, printers, networking equipment, and their components. These Terms constitute a binding electronic contract under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, requiring no physical or digital signature.

1. Acknowledgment & Introduction

By entering into these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept our operational workflows. PakDevices reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates binding consensus to the revised legal framework.

2. Eligibility to Use Services

To access our platform and perform active buying or selling tasks, users must fulfill key regulatory criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal guardian consent.
  • Must have the full capacity to form legally binding contracts under Pakistani law.
  • Accounts must contain accurate, up-to-date, and fully truthful registration data.

3. Platform Role & Limitations

PakDevices acts as a digital infrastructure pipeline connecting sellers and buyers. It is vital to recognize:

  • We do not own, inspect, hold inventory, or guarantee the physical condition of listed IT assets.
  • Transactions and handovers occur strictly between the independent buyer and seller.
  • Pricing, delivery guarantees, and physical product verification remain user-led obligations.

4. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

To maintain platform safety and trust, the following guidelines and activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, blocklisted, or deeply mislabeled electronic components.
  • Manipulating hardware pricing, artificial reviews, ratings, or misleading marketplace search rankings.
  • Circumventing designated marketplace communication channels to bypass platform security parameters.

5. Marketplace Services & Paid Features

While baseline browsing and basic listing features are free, advanced merchant capabilities carry applicable fees:

  • Premium listing boosts, home-page featured banners, and merchant badge verification subscriptions.
  • All internal platform service fees are non-refundable and processed via integrated secure channels.
  • Relevant legal taxes and payment gateway processing fees are added to invoice summaries at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform interfaces, proprietary tech designs, software algorithms, registered logos, written content, structural styling, and code assets belong exclusively to PakDevices. You may not copy, scraping-harvest, republish, distribute, or reverse-engineer any intellectual elements without our written authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

We operate our online marketplace strictly on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' operational framework without warranties of any sort:

  • No guarantees of permanent service uptime, absolute database security, or accurate user-posted hardware specifications.
  • PakDevices is completely insulated from third-party transaction fraud, system damages, and functional electronics discrepancies.
  • To the maximum extent under domestic laws, cumulative liability will not exceed total platform subscription charges paid by you.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed and construed strictly in accordance with the legal frameworks of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute, claim, or transaction discrepancy arising under these Terms shall first be subjected to informal and amicable platform mediation. If unresolved within 60 business days of submission, such disputes will be handled exclusively in the competent local courts located in Islamabad.
